What a "Wicked" Weekend!

So I got invited last minute to go see the Musical "Wicked" (the untold story before Wizard of Oz). What an awesome musical, it was sooo good. I would so see it again. Then, we stayed at the Holiday Inn right off of Michigan Avenue and ate at this place Ed Debevics (spelling?). Like a diner place where they dance on tables and they are mean to you on purpose. Like if you ask for lemon in your water they tell you, oh your one of "those" people. Or when we asked for straws, she threw them at our table and said one person has to share a straw since she didn't have enough. Unique place, but great food (got a burger with Velveeta cheese and an Oreo milkshake.) Today, it was WAY TOO COLD to be walking on Michigan Ave to shop so we went to Orland Park area and went shopping. Bought a new Caribbean Joe purse (YEAH!) and the new WeightWatcher's magazine and then we ate at Chipotle, which I have been craving forever! On top of it all, I even got to go to Trader Joe's and bought some good food to get myself back on my points and working out for tomorrow!

GOAL: To drop a dress size before shorts weather starts! I can do it! Hope you all are having a great weekend too!

My Valentine's Day!

Okay, so my Valentine's Day sucked. I was at Wal*Mart doing a remodel from 7:30pm till 9am this morning and it's not even completed because Wal*Mart was busy doing other things, even though they confirmed with me several times they were ready for us. Grrr...and now my other Wal*Mart is trying to pull some crap of changing dates to another date I have a remodel.

However, Mark did get me flowers for Valentine's Day (red gerber daisies and these white flowers with one single red rose) Love it! And sent me a card with an ITunes Gift card so I get to download more songs - hopefully some new workout music.

I am running on 3 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. I'm exhuasted - I headed to bed so I can get up at 5:30am to do another revision in Lafayette. Aren't I the lucky one?!? However, I think I am going to see Wicked in Chicago this Friday. I got invited and I really want to go - supposed to go to see the show, go to dinner and stay at a hotel in Chicago! How fun, right! At least I'll have something fun for the weekend.

If you knew today would be your last day before you died, how would you spend it?

So, this was the last line of Grey's Anatomy. If anyone watched the two part series of this episode (Pt 1 aired right after the Superbowl - I think I really like this show. It was so good. It makes you think, how would you spend your last day if you knew it was going to be your last? I personally don't like thinking that way, with me being the one always positive. But I guess you do have to wonder, what if? It's a tough question.

Also, Peter Manfredo Jr. was supposed to fight again tonight from Contender, but since the East coast got snow they delayed the match till tomorrow evening! :) I recorded what they showed tonight which was a rematch with him and Sergio fighting for the title again. I didn't watch because I was watching Grey's Anatomy but since I taped it I'll watch it tomorrow. They so need to have another Contender series.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day for me for work. Have to visit 5 stores and then have to get my phone checked out at Verizon because I can't even talk on the thing without it dropping calls left and right when I have full signal. Verizon stated my phone is 2 versions old, ummm hello?!?! It's only 1 year old...why don't they make phones that can last thru your contract. So they want me to take it to the techinician to see if he can program something into my phone to make it work. I highly doubt that will work.

Introducing....Mr. Pinot!

Here is a pic of my mom and Pinot from our X-mas trip to Maryland. Pinot is a Yorkie-Poo, the best and cutest dog in the world. He's Babak and Melanie's dog. I wanted to steal him!

Today is another bum day. Just hanging around the house, have a little tummy ache. Been straightening my apartment a bit and watching DVD's. I watched Dodgeball and Madagascar so far.

We haven't gotten any snow but I hear over on East coast they got hit with 21 inches! YIKES! Not sure what I want to make for dinner yet. Kinda want to make something new - but I did make lemon cupcakes with Diet Squirt. Mmm..soo good.

Valentine's Day is near! PTM's not believe me when I saw 90% of the sales for this holiday occur during the last 4 days before. For some reason, they think your crazy when you tell them they need to restock over the weekend. Then, they call me saying - Can you believe all the cards are wiped out?!? Hmmm....again, 90% of the sales occur this weekend.

There is a miracle inside of you, just waiting to be let out!
